Thank you for participating in the Beta Test for GOP onDemand
The Democrats are quoted in the press to be “building what is likely to be the largest-scale political campaign in American history.” Politico.com (June 4, 2008). They (and their fans in the media) believe they are alone - that the GOP isn’t doing anything in response. They’re committed to raising $100 million and recruit at least 3.2 million in a nationwide Democratic grassroots campaign!
Well . . . they haven’t heard yet about 48 or 48. Stay tuned and keep in touch on this website. The 2008 Presidential campaign is only beginning! In the interim, the Trustees of the Republican Leadership Trust thanks everyone who participated in the May 17, 2008 beta test of GOP onDemand

“So tell us what you want and give us $25 so we can deliver the future of the Republican Party to you.”
So typical of the “new” Republican Party. You people simply don’t get it and you never will.

Congratulations on the vision and mission articulated here. Long overdue. A timely and required tool to help return the party to its roots in a way that can insure its future viability by the most effective means; putting the power back into the hands of the people. No doubt Lincoln would be joined by Madison and Jeffferson in giving their nods of approval.
Kudos and best wishes.
Onward.

Just found your site. Everything you talk about I’ve been blogging about at my blog. I’ve been blogging alot also about the British Conservative new movement that David Cameron describes as Bottom up politics. Precisely what you are talking about. I started a second blog called “Bottom Up Politics” at http://bottomuppolitics.blogspot.com. This one is strictly for local Michigan politics and relating to the voter. Trying to make government interface as easy as possible. Your idea is really great. Hope it catches on. I’ll cough up $25. You get some more and maybe I’ll do the $25 @ month. I am at poverty level so most of my contributions is at the volunteer level.

I just posted a comment and then checked out your site. I see that it is an official organ of the RNC and Sen. Tom Coles crew. I Hope this isn’t just another attempt to placcate the masses as the other communications to me have been in the past. The leadership has gotten us to this point, the electorate doesn’t trust us very much anymore. See ed morrissey’s article for my point of view. Something to the effect that the voters didn’t leave the conservative ideas, the republican leadership left those ideas and those voters. They were hired to do a job and failed and face getting fired. I sincerely hooe this is a sincere effort to let the voters really determine policy and platform, and not another type of those assinine surveys you mail out looking for a contribution.
I hope and pray for real leadership

I hope this works. It doesn’t seem like the Republican party leaders care what we think. Thanks and good luck!

IT’S ABOUT TIME SOMEBODY DID SOMETHINE LIKE THIS FOR THE PEOPLE!
THANK YOU! I HAVE CALLED THE LOCAL GOP OFFICES & ASKED WHY THEY WERE LETTING THE DEMS DO ALL THE TALKING WITH NO REPUB SEN / CONGRESSMAN STANDING UP TO THEM! NOBODY HAS BEEN LISTENING TO US! I DO NOT WANT A DEM PRESIDENT BUT IT WOULD HELP IF SEN MC CAIN WERE MORE OPEN W/ HIS BASE THAN HE SEEMS TO BE ON COMEDY CENTRAL.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! DIANE

I entered quite a lengthy comment in the gripe section yesterday. However, I don’t see it anywhere on here. Did it disappear into the ether, never to be seen again? What happens to the gripes? Are they forwarded to someone who can do something about them or do they just disappear?

I posted earlier a rather snarky post. Since then I emailed the site and promply received a reply from the Hon. Peter Wirs. Very to the point and spelled it out to me that they were not affiliated nor an arm of the NRC or Mr. Cole ect. Their purpose was as stated to help the rank and file provide input (my description). I’m on board and happy. I went to a Dist. 2 rooundup and Pete Hoekstra was there who was happy to see new faces. He hoped we could have more of them. The rookies were making their voices heard. It was nice to see. I think there is some hope at the greass root level too.

The color scheme makes it really hard for me to see what I’m typing and the lighter blue is better it still is hare to read the comments. If others agree maybe a different background would help.
